The 11th Annual Steam and Antique Tractor Show will be held behind the R-1 School Building on September 14 and 15, 2002. There will be an old fashioned distance tractor pull on the 14th at 6 P.M. with the weigh-in scheduled for 4-6 P.M. There will be 7 rubber and 7 steel field classes. 1958 and older field classes, you will be allowed to pull two classes. Entry fee: Exhibitors NO CHARGE, All others $5.00. The following are the rules for the class entries:Classes: 0-2500, 2501-3500, 3501-4500, 4501-5500, 5501-6500, 6501-7500, 7501 and up.
- No cut tires
- Must pull factory draw bar, no cut/or homemade drawbars.
- Must be equipped out of field, must have proper wheels, correct diameter for model and year PTO, 3 point and such equipment so produced, must be intact.
- Powershift transmission such as torque amplifier, multi-power and etc. NO SHIFTING UP OR DOWN.
- Officials will have judgment on tractors to pull in this class, if your tractor is questionable, bring proof.
- 3 M.P.H., Maximum Speed.
- Stock weights only on front, not to extend beyond front wheels. Suitcase weights can be used on sides and back.
Prizes: $10 first, $5 second, Club cap third.
